What is our hours of operation? Our Winter hours are Friday Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm, weather permitting. Just call 535-1316 before you come. What is The Farm and how was it started? Enter the farmyard gates at THE FARM and you are greeted by the friendliest animals in the world whom you can pet and feed. Let the kids ride a pony, pack a picnic lunch and eat on the beautifully manicured lawn. In the farmyard kids set out to explore the world of animals through petting, feeding, and self discovery. In essence everyone discovers their love of animals at THE FARM. After you frolic with your favorite furry friends amble over to the Agventure areas where you can learn and test your knowledge of animal and agricultural facts. Here you can enjoy educational agricultural displays from antique tractors to sheep shearing demonstrations. Read fascinating facts about farm animals on beautifully illustrated signs designed by local artists. Rope steer horns in the straw, pedal a tractor or play in the corn box. Watch the babies in the baby exhibit! All of this and more at Agventure at The Farm. Click here for more information about The Farm. What is Kids & Critters? Kids & Critters Inc. is a not for profit 501(c)(3) corporation dedicated to the well being of children and animals. Through its program THE FARM, located on 51 S. Stage Rd. in Medford Oregon, Kids & Critters benefits children, families and animals in a plethora of ways. The mission of THE FARM is to help children develop life skills such as responsibility, management skills, entrepreneurship and how to properly care for animals all while enjoying the essence of a real farm experience. How does Kids & Critters find the children to help? In this day and age children are overloaded with television, and computer technology. They are becoming out of touch with many of the realities of life. For this reason through its program, THE FARM, Kids & Critters helps every child who visits our farmyard. Each child’s experience is individual and unique. THE FARM uses animals as a catharsis to help children cope with fear, confidence problems, or giving children unconditional love through contact with an animal who holds no judgement against any human being.
